I have been rethinking what I wanted this blog to accomplish - and have decided to resurrect it with a new intention.  I hope you like it.

Years ago I learned just how literal your subconscious can be. I had started experimenting with self-hypnosis and it was being very effective for me. I was young, and it was at a time when being popular was really important so I decided I wanted to direct my subconscious to make me “cool”. That was the word that indicated popularity at that time. I am sure that you can guess what came next. I was cold - I was cold all the time. No matter what I did - I couldn’t warm up. I didn’t know what the problem was - (didn’t remember that my subconscious was dutifully making me cool). When it dawned on me what I had done, it gave me a big laugh. Thankfully it was easily undone. It was a fairly painless lesson-learned.

The n is an amazing sound energy. After several days of intensive n soundings I have experienced many flashes of knowings. The knowings are not restricted to things that I have turned my attention to, although turning my attention to a subject does cause “knowings”. The “knowings” have also come unbidden on subjects that I am interested in. I have tested out several statements to see their effectiveness when coupled with the sounding of the n. “I know and I know that I know” did not really produce any results that I was satisfied with. At least for me, when the will is involved, I need to be more specific about what I want to know. I can say “I know how to … ” and get more results. I am testing the cliche “I know better” now. Will post my results as they come in

I was reminded today of one of my first experiences that pointed out to me the power of the words that come out of our mouths.  It was many years ago - 1976 I think.  I was teaching a metaphysical development class and I was talking about an upcoming trip to Atlanta for a convention.  I’ve always had a flair for the dramatic - and so - being dramatic and with the energy that goes with that - I said “I don’t have a thing to wear in Atlanta.”  … well … it may have not been true when I said it … but you know how manifestations go … on the trip to Atlanta my suitcase was damaged and all of my clothes ruined.  I literally didn’t have anything to wear and had to go buy clothes to attend the convention. — wish I hadn’t said that!

I have been focussing on the “n” sound energy recently. Such an “n”teresting letter. This letter gives a person the ability to negate or neutralize other energies or influences in the life. It also seems to give an almost automatic neutralization of negativity.

Franz Bardon says in The Key to the True Quabbalah that “n” can produce the highest state of happiness. I guess that’s one of the reasons that I decided to focus on that this week. In all of the years that I have been working with the sound energies, I wouldn’t have described “n” as a happiness energy.

If I wanted to cheer myself or someone else up, I would have used the energies E-Z. If I had wanted to make myself or some else enthusiastic, I would have used A-J.

So it is time for test - test - test. I will post my thoughts on this energy and its combinations over the course of the next week.
